Ted Talk
Watch this TED talk about how leaders inspire change. Start with the WHY http://www.ted.com/talks/simon_sinek_how_great_leaders_inspire_action.html
Read!
We’ve all got those books on our nightstand or on a shelf somewhere we’ve been wanting to read, but then never got around to it. Today, your homeplay is to pick up that book. Or any book. Read 5 pages (or more). What book did you pick?
Recap
Its been a while since the last course, but hopefully everyone is still living the effects. List some of the strategies you still use and that are working for you today.
Hug a tree
City life is great, but sometimes we forget about nature. So today, go hug a tree, enjoy life!
Take 5 Minutes to stop and watch life go by
Don’t get so caught up in every day stuff that you forget what’s important. Homeplay for today is to stop and take 5 minutes to connect in with yourself and watch.
Make Eye contact
Don’t be afraid to meet and connect in with new people! Make eye contact with strangers today. You’ll be more connected with the people around you, and you might just meet a few interesting people! Comment how this worked for you.
Give/Receive a foot massage
In Perth we all got to feel how good it was to give ourselves a foot massage in the afternoon! Get out and let someone else feel that too, or maybe your partner will be kind enough to give you one
Eye Patterns
Today just pay attention to peoples eye patterns, ask some questions and see what sort of responses you will get! Remember two things;
1. Some people have an overarching strategy and may go visual first before anything else
2. This is just to elicit and learn, it won’t be 100% correct all of the time so don’t go shooting from the hip based on eye patters alone!
Drink some water!
Don’t underestimate the importance of a healthy lifestyle! Hydration is important, especially in this heat! So today, drink 2l of water. Like this post if you’ve completed the challenge.
